Truckmania descends on Beaulieu

The National Motor Museum, Beaulieu is pleased to announce a brand new event, TRUCKMANIA! This fun-filled, family-friendly event is set to liven up the Bank Holiday weekend, on the 26th and 27th May, with a whole host of colourful, truck-size displays, demonstrations and activities.
This event is a great opportunity to get up close and personal to these amazing giants of the motoring world to appreciate their sheer size and scale. Enjoy displays of vehicles spanning over 100 years of trucking, from the horse-drawn dray wagons through to modern-day eco-friendly lorries, and cavalcades of vehicles rolling through the grounds.
Watch amazing live action from the world-famous original monster truck, BIGFOOT. This leviathan of the motoring world, celebrating its tenth anniversary of running in the UK, will be captivating visitors with two mesmerising, action-packed displays each day, with plenty of car-crushing and power demonstrations.
Each day, visitors can vote for their favourite vehicle in the People’s Choice Award, and during each afternoon, the truck driver with the greatest number of votes will receive a Beaulieu Trophy in an award presentation ceremony.
Younger visitors can get involved in the action, by taking a ride in mini trucks on Beaulieu’s own Dipstick’s Driving Circuit*.
Truckmania can be seen as part of a visit to the whole Beaulieu attraction. See the National Motor Museum, and exciting exhibition, BOND IN MOTION. Displaying the world’s largest ever collection of original James Bond vehicles, this one-off exhibition showcases 50 of the most iconic vehicles from the films.
Visit World of Top Gear, displaying genuine vehicles used in the BBC television show, 13th Century Beaulieu Abbey, Palace House, home of the Montagu family since 1538 and the beautifully-kept gardens. Enjoy unlimited rides on the high-level Monorail and open-topped London bus.
